A Russian little patient and the doctor in Xi’an eat longevity noodles to celebrate both birthday

On December 28, medical staff from the hospital celebrated the birthday of a Russian child and the doctor Bai Xinchao.

The head nurse, on behalf of all medical staff of the International Medical Department, gave Simon his favorite car as a birthday gift. Simone’ mother, Alina, made a wish in lieu of the non-speaking Simon: “I very much hope that when he grows up, he will become a doctor, bring hope to the patient, and continue the warmth and love you bring us.”

After nearly three months of treatment and rehabilitation at Xi'an, Simon's situation has been greatly improved. Not only can he swallow independently from the nasal feeding tube, his muscle atrophy is relieved, his limbs have become flexible, and he has even learned to turn around spontaneously. It further strengthened Alena's confidence.

Considering that it is not easy for Seemon and his mother to seek medical treatment in a foreign country, medical staff give them great help in life. They not only help them solve the problems of renting a house, exchanging foreign exchange, and purchasing necessities for daily life. They also invite Alena and other foreign patients carried out activities together to eliminate their loneliness in a foreign country. Alena said to medical staff: "I trust Chinese medicine, I am grateful and dependent on you, I feel that Xi'an is our second hometown."
